Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a diagnosis to schedule an appointment?

Not at all! Whether or not you have a formal diagnosis, if you are struggling with your relationship to food, body image, or eating habits, I am here to help.

What is the process for getting started with treatment?

The first step is to schedule an initial consultation directly on our booking page. During this session, we will discuss your health history, current eating habits, and any challenges you may be facing. From there, we will work together to develop a personalized treatment plan and outline the best steps forward for your recovery.

How long does treatment typically take?

The duration of treatment depends on each individuals needs and progress. Some clients may require only a few months of support, while others may benefit from longer-term care. The goal is to help you build sustainable, healthy relationships with food and your body, which takes time and consistency.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) PPO and Blue Choice.

For other insurance providers, I can provide you with a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Do you see patients without insurance (self pay)?

Yes, you do not need insurance. I accept all major credit/debit cards and bank transfer (ACH)

Do you offer sliding scale for self pay?

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to help make care more accessible. If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to discuss options.

Do you work with other healthcare providers?

Yes, I believe in a team-based approach to healing! I regularly collaborate with therapists, doctors, psychiatrists, and other professionals involved in your care. If you are working with a mental health professional, Id be happy to coordinate with them to ensure that all aspects of your treatment are aligned.

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that life can get busy, so I ask that you give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you miss a session without prior notice, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. I want to ensure that you have access to the support you need when you need it.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes, I currently only offer virtual sessions for clients. My goal is to make treatment as accessible as possible, so telehealth options are available for your convenience.
